It's better, but I do think there could be more improvement.  Hopefully after console release, their feedback will help improve layout.  I doubt this will be the final version for the controller.

Yes, please revert this back to previous layout.  I could live with most of the new buttons, but give the cursor back.  My god does it take forever to do stuff.  I won't buy the console version if the button layout stays this way.

I would say you are definitely in the minority.  I quit building my own bases long ago and just convert a poi.
