Cant you just do a unique id, so the person who did the quest can use it but the person who has not cant? therefor a quest giving a "perk" of using the workstation, could do that with other things as well

zombies are a bonus i love making my base and trying to make a town(never get too far on town before another alpha)

+1 to that except they can take their time to me just like seeing what they're thinking and what they are working on feels like i'm a part of this game not just an observer part of what made it one of the best games i've played

i liked being part of the development of the alpha(though i dident say much) felt like players helped shape and improve that game with this new way of releasing stuff seems like we were cut out of it idk makes me have less hype and less to look forward too i guess.

that would make me go to a million hours though i think we have a way to go first :) fingers crossed though
