That's probably also in RWGMixer.xml (that's where their spawning has been configured in the past), I just stopped reading the file after I found what to change for the requester.
Don't pretend that biome usage and player predilection to Forest Biome isn't one of the areas that TFP is lowkey at war with its own player base on. Several staff have commented on these forums talking about how they'd like to see players use the other biomes more. Removing most of the city...
I think it was bumped that high in A20 in response to concerns about food scarcity on MP. It was a pretty knee-jerk fix which made food hilariously plentiful in SP games while only sorta fixing the problem in MP. They needed to do some kind of player entity weighting for animal spawning, but...
TBH, I really like slow burns. What I don't like is when that slow burn feels artificially enforced. Dew collecters are cool but should probably only work in the forest. The desert is too dry, the snow biome is too cold and I wouldn't want to drink what's collecting in the wasteland. Yet we...
If it gets too far out of line, they'll find themselves competing with player made map generators, which imo would be pretty embarrassing for them to have happen *again* at this point. We'll see how close to the sun they feel like flying.
As was A21, as was A20, A19 was aight, A18 was an apology for A17 and A17 was an atrocity. It's been a thing for awhile now.
This game really started falling off when the default difficulty was moved to Adventurer. Ever since then it's been becoming more and more of a Fischer Price zombie...
I feel ya there. I keep all my important combat stuff on 1-4, which are conveniently right next to WASD. Hitting 1 or 2 for weapons is just muscle memory for me at this point. There's no flubbing around with a "last tool" button and accidentally pulling out a shovel instead of a sledgehammer.
I just figured this issue out for someone on reddit and I have to say after looking at rwgmixer.xml I had myself a little lol about how bad the railroading is getting in this game. I'll put the steps you can take to recreate this yourself (I'm too lazy to make a mod, tho I'm sure one either...
I have quite a few take aways from the stream, but this is bar-none my biggest one. You guys clearly want to have some kind of class system. Why not just stop beating around the @%$#ing bush and implement one and leave the gear out of it. You would have so much more freedom with it and much less...
