Tried the 16x version in the wasteland....and wow. FPS barely dropped at all. It is possible in vanilla...
Makes me feel like I am playing Classic 7 days... They probably nerfed the wandering zombies so...
I meant the recent performance boost with DLSS etc... They reduced wandering zombies back in alpha 12 or 13 if I can remember correctly. By now they should be able to increase it, or at least allow us to choose how much according to our specs.

LOL I see this got moved under pimp...
Remember this scene from the walking dead when Rick goes around the corner right into a massive horde....yeah we want this shock value... Basically a horde so big that the only option is to run!
Hi Pimps! After you guys updated the game many versions ago to have HD zombies, you drastically reduced the amount of zombies wandering around in the open world... Nowadays when we are roaming around there are very little zombies in the open world. This part of your trailer is technically false...
2.0 sucks, I am going to say it. Been playing since alpha 9. It's not fun anymore...yeah sure disable this, disable that, mod this mod that....put lipstick on a pig.... fix it please.... The only good thing with 2.0 is the performance boost with DLSS, the new POI's and the sound improvements...
I was playing on PC with my friends yesterday and they were glitching through the map. For one of them it was so bad that they just gave up and stopped playing.
Please fix the constant screamers that show up during missions, and also the erratic movements of zombies glitching/lunging forward when they get hit. Both these wreck the gameplay and make it frustrating. 1600+hrs player here.
I've been having issues with the game stuttering (as bad as three times within five seconds) and tried the below without any luck.
Rebooting my pc
lowering graphics
turning vsync off/on
turning dynamic mesh down
Rebooting my server
+ much more.
My wife wasn't having issues while playing...
Hi all, I noticed that yesterday my FPS info in the GeForce overlay stopped reporting information. Everything else on the overlay works. After lots of research online I came up with no results that actually worked. So by trial and error I eventually managed to figure out why it stopped working...
