Using the O-SCore mod by Spherii, I have disabled trader protection mid game. I imagine if you do this, make your changes and then remove the mod, it *should* work. Not a modder, so try on a disposable world first.
Fire. I know that it can be enabled and enhanced with mods, but having vanilla include fire as an option would be great. Maybe a sandbox switch for spreadable fire that consumes flammable items, spreads and can be started with molotovs, explosions and so forth. Make the world a more dangerous place!
Like so many of us, I came here to read discussions about 2.6 exp. Maybe find out about bugs or new changes or even things players liked about it. Instead, I get 19 pages of vitriol and off-topic rants that make it difficult to find the useful posts. Sheesh.
Thanks to @4sheetzngeegles for...
I guess it sort of depends on what you're used to. Compare the laptop specs to whatever you play on now, as well as against the "minimum specs" for 7dtd. Before I upgraded my entire PC, I went from an onboard graphics card to a dedicated one (used, and this was several years ago) and I saw a...
When I was first starting out, I didn't realize zombies did damage to blocks. or that you could repair them. I built a simple shooting platform with cobblestone legs and thought "That's great. I'm ready". But on horde night, the zeds broke through the legs and I came tumbling down.
I assume you mean you want to add new animals to the game and not just spawn more of the ones that are already in?
I would start by finding a mod that does something similar (like the one that adds baby animals) and examine that. See what they've done and see if you can replicate it with the...
Lately, I've been playing with a Hybrid LBD/LBR mod and I really enjoy it. To me, it makes sense that reading a book or magazine will help teach me things. It also makes sense that doing things will make me better at them. So gaining some points in Mining by mining, or in Cooking by cooking...
Rain seems to be really random in this game. I've gone 20 days in this playthrough with storms at 100% and only had to deal with rain about 5 times. In previous alphas you could ignore it, but with the temperature changes, you need to arm yourself with a torch or flaming weapon in order to stay...
First, a little reality. Arizona is currently in a water shortage due to climate change and overuse. Reservoirs are at drastically low levels and normal supply will be cut by 30% in 2026. Unless action is taken it will only get worse.
My thoughts on water in the game:
So, with nuclear strikes...
Not much of a modder, but I imagine it wouldn't be too complex to create a mod that changes the burbing/vomitting noises of the cops and tourist to a standard zombie sound and either mods cops out or eliminates their spewing. Not sure if it could all be done in XML or not, but I think so.
In Arizona, most of the pine forest areas are at altitudes of 4000ft or higher. During winter, they can even get snow. So, yeah going from 70F to 50F is not uncommon.
