There is no "layer" of iron. The entire ground is laced with iron, from the top right down to bedrock. I dug down to bedrock and back up again, and there is no trace of anything else but iron. I have to assume this is a bug.. a game-stopping one. To the developers: if you fix this (and I hope...

That would explain it.. thanks for the info. But how do you upgrade a vehicle then, to make it run faster? Is this done through modifiers now?

How do you change or upgrade the engine in the minibike when you have found a better engine? I can remember that in the A16 you could simply take the engine out and put the new one in, but I can´t find that option in the A17. Is it hidden somewhere else now, has this feature been removed, or...

Being a developer myself, I've learned the hard way more than once that this is true. Let's just hope they hear it. Unless they want to learn the hard way too.

True. But I simply don't WANT to exploit their AI for my benefit, because that misses the point of the game. I work as a software developer myself, so all day I think about algorithms. When I play a game then in my free time, the last thing I want to have to think about is exploiting AI...
