Toilet pistols used to be uncommon loot, now they are rare. Rare enough that I don't bother with toilets anymore unless I need an emergency drink. A20 brought some changes to the loot table and this is one of them.

Acid is rare loot in sinks and trash piles. When you read the Wasteland Treasures book, it appears rarely in car loot and you can salvage white wall medical boxes 4-to-1, or 2-to-1 if you have full salvage perk. You can find lots of these in the big hospital poi.
