It's a block. Player block damage is how much damage a player, as opposed to AI Zombies, do to a block. There are no "player blocks" and "non-player blocks".

A Tier 3 wrench would be a wrench with a 3 describing its Tier. Noone in their right mind would interpret a Tier 3 Wrench as an Impact. If the game calls it an Impact, call it an Impact. If a tool is called an Auger, call it an Auger.

Are you all playing the console version? I'm on PC and have never seen any drills. There is an impact driver that kinda looks like a cordless drill. There's an auger for mining but is not a drill. Are you playing in some weird foreign language and the the localization files have weird alternate...

OK guys, I found a true solution to this and it wasn't what I expected. Changing the Windows keyboard settings I described back in December didn't really fix it like I thought it would at first, so I've been dealing with this for months and finally got fed up and started trying other things...

I tried to edit my OP to update the thread with the solution but they only allow that for a few minutes after posting.

There are no ladders or any other items nearby, just a huge plot of hay bales. This happens in the same playthrough, with no skills or any other variables changing. Just jump from 50m or so onto a field of hay bales and 50% of the time you break your leg.

but if I look at a weapon with no ammo loaded, it should show default dmg like a freshly crafted weapon, not dmg of some ammo that was loaded before

Alright so I loaded both the T5 and T6 Legendary M60's with AP 7.62 ammo and the T5 does 92.8 dmg with no mods installed, and the T6 does 97.2 unmodded. So apparently yes, the T5 was showing the dmg from the last ammo I ran through it, whereas the brand new T6 was showing stock ammo values since...

If I put a huge plot of hay bales at the bottom of a tall building and jump down onto them, half the time I suffer no damage at all, but half the time I wind up with a broken leg. Are they bugged to where maybe if you don't land exactly within a single hay bale that it doesn't break your fall...
