PC V2.0 Storms Brewing Dev Diary

Yes, that's definitely how it is, and getting an apiary (presumably in the mid, mid-late game) will really only exacerbate this. I think we can use a reason to be getting infected more often in the mid, mid-late game. I somehow doubt we'll be limited to crafting just 1 apiary and players that...

I largely agree with this, but with honey becoming more reliable, I'm hoping maybe we can see a buff to higher level Z's having a greater possibility to infect you. I have loot dialed back to 66% and within the first week I'll have more than enough meds to ever put a meaningful dent in the...

Sale is On! DLC On Sale! Sadface I Already Own Them. MORE!

I've got a couple more things I want to look through during the steam sale before I go and spend all my money- but I'm definitely grabbing the hoarder set, it's totally my style. Thanks for the hundreds of hours of fun. Have a couple extra bucks.;)

Well, the jars do get a comeback it seems.

I feel the skepticism- The event system is less of a promise than the bandits.. but I remember, way back, Joel's enthusiasm for the idea and much more currently, it's listed in the 3.0 highlights as coming. To me, the question is less of an if, and more of a when/how well. 2.0 storms really...

This. Now make it generate heat and screamers. No one will ever complain that water is too easy again. :devilish:🤣

Well, the jars do get a comeback it seems.

@pApA^LeGBa I saw that jaw crafting will be gated behind crucible, that's great- But depending on how common they are in loot, if we get them back when drinking and so on, we may not even feel a need to be crafting jars until mass production becomes necessary. I know dew collectors aren't great...

Well, the jars do get a comeback it seems.

I think it'll be fine to move dew collectors up the workstation tech tree, maybe raise the cost and make the tarp/gather mods craftable. My biggest concern with jars is that they'll make it very easy to have an overabundance of water in the early game where a lot of the fun is struggling to have...

Well, the jars do get a comeback it seems.

I consider dew collectors marginally better. I usually check the collectors every couple days, with old jars, I was filling them often for about the first week.. but it wouldn't be long before I had 50, 100 jars.. then I'd fill them all at once and that would be it for another 2-3 ingame weeks...

Well, the jars do get a comeback it seems.

I'm relatively indifferent to jars themselves, but from a mechanic standpoint in previous iterations they really made water trivial, I just hope however it works out in the new update. Cook times or recipe costs are adjusted so that we find we just have enough water to drink/craft. not so much...

Cool, jars.. and other features coming back, Heck yeah- I think. Smell is good, I like more danger. Weapon part combination is potentially fun- if it isn't just a way to inflate our numbers even faster - I think I'm gonna cry balance over it. Got mixed feelings on jars, but I suppose the only...

Why does 7dtd still have no end game content?

I fanboy for the game, but I'm not blind to how long the updates take. Yeah, the waiting sucks.. and at the end of it all, I'll surely still end up modding things until the struggle feels just right. But in the end that's okay with me, I ended up here in part because of being underwhelmed by...

Why does 7dtd still have no end game content?

I mean.. if they have time, I'd love a big, thicc boss type zombie they can drop 1-3 in the loot room group of T6 infested to really put a '!!!' to cap off the experience, but I feel TFP have been pretty good to us as far as giving us variation.. That said, when legendary gear is added, I hope...

Which Trader would survive the longest in an apocalypse?

Which trader would survive longest/best? Hugh. For sure. Big walls, and guns behind them Plenty of meat for the hunting. Scary dude. Bob. Bob will last for a while no doubt, but that desert sun done cooked his brain. Jen. Jen's knowledge of medicine makes her very useful, I just hope she'd...

Zombies are acting a little strange

I kinda like it when there's a few brain dead zombies in the crowd.. last week I was gaming with the buddies, we got someone fairly new with us and we were out for a flight- disaster struck when he ran out of gas over a T5 and he totaled the copter in some military installation and needed...

    Biome Gear and Clothing Systems

That is some very exciting news. I didn't notice the devs comment on this yet so I'm withholding peek enthusiasm, but I think amping up the survival elements of the game another 30% or so would be fantastic. More and more arcadeyness has been seeping in, but when I bought this game it was...
