Is it really so different with other companies? Would you buy a washing machine that showed commercials on it display from time to time? When I buy a product I usually want it advertisement-free, except when the payment IS seeing the adverts. Simple rule really. So, if I buy a DVD of a movie I...
Fun fact: Most game developers with a crew of more than say 25(?) people are probably working on multiple games at times. Why? Because those 25 people are specialists with their own area and some of them are finished with a game before others. Instead of sitting around idly or getting laid off...
There are good examples of public outcry making things better, I agree. Especially in the game scene where voting with your wallet simply doesn't work. But I also have seen many negative examples as well.
And one thing seems to be troubling us the same: That influencers who appeal to viewers...
(if inoffical support is acceptable :) )
I am sure that if you set DayNightLength from 60 to 90 then both day and night real-time duration will increase by the same factor, in this case 1.5. Likewise each in-game hour will be 1.5 times longer.
The name probably should be read as "Day+Night...
There is a definite line in games that should not be crossed. If there is advertisement in the game, even for a DLC or something else the company sells then that crosses the line.
Though there are cases where this may be acceptable, for example as a fan service. Some games make crossover events...
Oh, this is just my frustration speaking that youtubers have such a power of influencing public opinion. It gets more and more common for people to not speak their minds anymore but just refer to some youtuber or post what some AI thinks. Call me old-fashioned but I don't like that direction
Ok, wouldn't this fact very much hint at the possibility that the voice lines were produced before that reassignement of the armor and nobody noticed at that time that a voice line isn't accurate anymore? Doesn't that sound more likely than such a crude attempt of guerilla marketing that 9 out...
And why should we then see that video? Are the issues more important now because some guy who makes videos all the time made a video?
Or is this some reference to a higher authority? Why is that youtuber a higher authority?
Or is he just more entertaining? Does a discussion need entertainment...
Just as a thought experiment, assume that turrets were only half as efficient as a human shooter. You could then just set up two turrets on your horde base and basically AFK-defend it just as good as you could yourself for just twice the ammo cost. Wouldn't that make you relatively superfluous...
I believe in Hanlon's Razor, I would say there is a much higher probability that this is just some leftover from an armor set that was later redirected to being a cosmetic DLC set. And low chances that it is either just lazyness to mention something that is only sometimes in the game or that it...
MMO? I only have played World of Warcraft, so my experience is kind of limited, but you could get through the whole game with just running headlessly around and killing everything. Without ever inspecting one clue, all texts were entirely optional to read.
WoW is a very good example of a game...
You are aware that this is an update you get for free? While bandits are still something that is promised by their kickstarter, "weather" was already a feature in 1.0 even though it was only visual at that time. And if you look at the changelog there were a lot of changes. Including...
