Guys is it just me or with every experimental the ram usage drops even more. In first a18 public experimental build it used around 5gb of my system ram of total 8. In a 17 it was around 6-7gb.
Now its a bizarre amount 2gb of ram. Is it just my computer offloading stuff to virtual memory? Or the...
I wonder if diagonal running is possible on the fastest zombie speed settings to ignore or make them miss hits. Since they should catch up to us pretty easily? Either that or perhaps 90 degree turns every couple of seconds. Now zombies take some time to adjust to sudden change of direction.
1) Yeah i also was wondering whats up with that. A17 was very dark but in a18 it went so bright its mildly unnatural.
2) I don't feel like there is not enough zombies to fight. I mean if you look at it in my perspective 25 zombies in 1 poi is absurd. From 3 pois you could get around 5-6 lvls...
Everybody with low end graphic card experiences problems. But is there anybody with relatively weak cpu and got to first horde night?
Before in a17 horde night made my fps tank to around 20-10 even 5 (i was playing first on 16 spawns then changed to 32).

I have feeling that most of the optimization went into CPU and ram than GPU and vram this experimental. That's why a lot of people with not so great graphic cards have problems.
So far i turned my textures to half and everything to low or off and its around 30-70 now.
Still I'm having a blast...
Well in a17 i had in medium settings around 50-60 fps on 1080p. Full textures low shadows.
A18 is 10 fps with Full textures, everything down to 0, 1080p. I had to reduce texute to half to even get 40fps.

Have anybody tested random gen 8k on older Radeon cards such as r9 270x? Or its a problem on any radeon card?
Also could i just stick my old gt 440 only to generate a world and then switch back to r9 270x?
