    New Terraforming tool/mod idea

    so, i've realized that the terrain is built out of octahedrons (eight triangular sides) that shrink as they're damaged. my idea is either a tool or a mod for helmets that lets you see the hitboxes of the terrain blocks for more precise building and block placing.

    IS MY GAME GETTING LIVE-PATCHED? i went back into my game, flew around a while in debug mode(thank you to the user who mentioned how to open Debug in a normal game) and eventually my car appeared around me! it's like i complained online and saw results!

    I'm picturing a hand sander or grinder that very rapidly takes away one hp from any terrain block it's used on, like asphalt, to let us better contour the land surfaces to our liking. of course, it wouldn't give back regular resources. it'd give crushed sand when used on stone and nothing used...
