I fail to understand how an arrow/shot to the head doesn't 1 hit kill a zombie. It should. Zombies should be dangerous because there are many of them, not be MMO damage sponges. Head trauma should almost always be 1 hit kill except on specials.
So, who will ever consider melee again in a game where loot from zombies are gone and they will lose max hp from every hit that they take from enemies?
My concern is that loot becomes so rare that I give up bothering to check the ground when I kill zombies, effectively removing zombie loot 100% for me.
I think it's a pity with the zombies not being able to be looted. At least make the body disappear in a supernatural mist animation then/dissolving, instead of vanishing in a glitch like manner.
Also, what happens if a zombie with loot dies on top of a container of loot from a previous zombie...
Players should be allowed to be 100% safe if they wish. Their choice.
I think that bases should be secure, but remaining alive difficult. Gives us a lot of reasons to venture out, and make the outside way more dangerous than it currently is.
