There's like 4 people publicly having this issue. By absolute chance, my friend and I fixed it. They don't have the issue when starting the game and going into their world, but when joining friends. So the solution was for them to get in their world and join directly to the other.

Hey, any word on a rare audio bug on Series X? My friend and only a couple other people seem to have it. Upon start up of the game, game audio gets choppy, it kills Xbox Party chat and makes it choppy, and the xbox home button when pressed opens up the shutdown console menu.  This happens...
