Just wondering if this was intended. Looks like the max I can do is 8k now.

Anyone have a good 16k seed? Took a break for a bit. Ideally, I'd like a few traders that aren't super far from each other, nice mix of cities, different bios, and not filled with too many floating buildings.

Good to know. Guess I had a run of bad seed names. Thanks for the info and the Metropolis seed. Will give it a try.

I apologize if this has already been discussed. It seems that 16k maps have the same amount of stuff (POIs) as the 8k maps, just further apart. Anyone else have a similar experience?

nm- found it. set settings back to the high default then turn off motion blur. Seemed to do the trick after restarting the game,

Bought a RTX 2080, set to max and enabled everything. Told the nvidia app to let the game control the card, but when I get near crates shotgun/hw/food etc the labeling is fuzzy. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. I'd appreciate any suggestions.

From my experience, it seems that whatever one uses as a random gen seeds determines the choice of prefab map used.... Dupuwu Valley, East Taimo County, etc. Granted it seems like there are a dozen or so maps, but it doesn't seem like a random map is generated. Maybe there is more to it then...
