how hard would it be to implement a toggle for digging? Why wouldn't a game company want to appeal to a larger range of players.

Sadly I stopped playing shortly after they reactivated zombie digging. I tried for a little while, but I just don't enjoy it as well. I keep checking back to see if anything has changed.
