    Somebody explain thirst to me please

    I drank a bunch of red teas to refill my water meter and after it was full, I could literally watch it drain again at 1 point every few seconds. How does this make any sense? Game version is A21 latest release, no mods, mostly vanilla settings, on a regular multiplayer server. See here:
