I play with 120 min days and cheat the night cycle by quitting, turning the game time to 10 minute days, fly through the nights, quit, reset to 120 min days, and profit.

Bought Darkest Dungeon during the recent steam sale. If you’re into dungeon crawlers the voice acting by Wayne June is absolutely amazing and the artwork is phenomenal.

You’re going to have to start a new file regardless because it’s going to be incompatible and mess your game up. I imagine if you did try to load the older game into the new version the parts will just be gone.

I would say there isn’t a remedy for your “boredom” because you’ve essentially done what the game has available. You can always edit the game to change things or limit yourself through pseudo challenges but your best bet it to just wait until Alpha 17 like the majority of us.

An indie company that had all of their promotional and marketing support provided by one of the largest game company’s in the world. Frees up a bit of time and money when you don’t have to promote your own game.

I’ve been reading through and haven’t really found a solid answer, but are things going to be locked behind RNG books still? Mini bike for example, is this going to be locked behind a book still or is there actual progression towards making things? Only reason I ask is it becomes frustrating...

Later stages of the game they feel annoying because the loot doesn’t exceed the ridiculous cost of repairs and ammo. Getting guns when I’m rocking several near 600 quality guns isn’t doing a lot for me. And then when you’re sitting there just unloading into bullet sponges that don’t drop enough...

I agree that the hordes need to offer some reward beyond congratulations you survived. Is having zombies be the only source of experience too lame? Would force you to fight and also look forward to the horde night as they would be a huge boost to your level allowing you to progress?
