Maybe I missed it, but was there any mentioning about new POIs? I really like how many were added A16->A17 and that there was a lot to discover again, as well as the lower probability of encountering the same POIs all the time (with the exception of the junkyard spawn bug.. hehe). Wondering...

It would be nice to have some additional sliders to configure map options for generation, e.g. City density, min. amount of traders, spawn_traders_also_in_cities (boolean), ... those are pretty basic and should not need to be modded in, IMHO. So far from what I can see the E17.2 Maps look...

I probably missed the bit where the RWG was changed to generate Islands only...? Oh come on. That's even worse than the A17E RWG with the snow biome north and desert biome south and the annoying burned biome patches everywhere in between. I hope "Island"-Type will be optional :)

Did you start the map with 17.1B9 or with an earlier build? Anyway, this appears to be a known issue and the solution is explained in the patch notes. I'll save you some time: dying once should fix it :)

I'm not using a Mac, but mad credits to you for isolating this issue to the logging code. This probably enables TFP to also fix it quite fast :D
