I'm finding it really bothersome with the current block limit being when trying to place objects and such while building. Is there anyway to remove this limitation so I can place ANY block be it 1/8, 1/4, or 1/2 block right next to any other.
Every time I end up really getting into building something I find that the blocks I need simply do not exist...
What are some blocks you would like to see added into the game?
Right now I would like a "cobblestone/flagstone 1/4 block" not just a center block... And instead of a 1/4 block...
Upgrade that video card. It's the only thing holding that system back tbh. GTX 1060 6GB is quite affordable and should push at the very least 60 fps @1080p
Heh, maybe they could tone it down a bit, but after awhile you get used to it and start sneaking into rooms, looking above you and breaking down closet doors from a distance. It won't wake up the zeds and you can stealth headshot kill them pretty easily. However, they could of done a better job...
One thing I just noticed in a multiplayer game is that from a distance when my party member tried opening a locked door is that it was really loud as if I was right there. Then when I move far enough away it just disappears. from 100% volume to 0...
I noticed on one server I was playing on I was able to recover almost all arrows I shot into a Z. About 75% of the time. Is there a mod out there or a change I can make to the xml file for this? Thanks.
This is probably what gets me the most and it's very easy to tell. Even with having a ~$900 sound setup. Sennheiser GSX1000 + Magni 3 amp + Beyerdynamic DT1990 Pro. The GSX1000 does helps with knowing what direction they zeds are coming from, but they will still sound much closer than they...
Jump sounds I found the most annoying (Male and Female) So I commented them out in the entityclasses.xml. So much better after that.
<!-- property name="SoundJump" value="Player_Male/player1Jump"/> -->
<!-- <property name="SoundLandSoft" value="Player_Male/player1LandSoft"/>...
Just to be clear I am only running a dedicated headless server using linux. I only specifically game on windows. Linux is a very efficient and reliable OS overall. If you compare a high-end Linux system and a high-end Windows-powered system, the Linux distribution would take the edge. Maybe not...
I am noticing this too and also made a thread about it. Screamers can spawn other screamers now and some people claim to almost never see screamers.
