Humour is a pretty central aspect of the game, and I think the "hot nurse" stereotype is an extension of the game not taking itself too seriously all the time. Would be a shame to see her go. Could also be a nod to Silent Hill, seems somewhat reminiscent.

I have a 4790k, 980 GTX, 16 gigs RAM, running off an SSD at 1080p, and I have to play the game at mostly low settings (set to low then increase textures since they don't make much difference, etc). I wouldn't call it unplayable on higher settings, but it is unpleasant. Very jerky and stiff...
