I can't speak for others, but I only picked it because there isn't an option for anything later, not because I think Roland has inside info. So you're half right. I wouldn't rule out November or December.

Is that laughably early or laughably late? I haven't been following development at all.

Roland said in October 2017 that they were shooting for A18 to be the last alpha, but it could be A19. Then beta, which Madmole has said will be short due to them squashing every conceivable bug as they go. Then release. It's unclear whether the final alpha would also mean the start of beta or...
