@faatal any more performance updates to 2.0? Particularly ones that will allow more zombies on horde night?
I like how we can control the amount of zombies for the last several betas, I feel it’s near impossible to have a large amount that don’t all arrive in a small time window and having them...
You’re a good man Faatal, I appreciate your honesty and actually communicating a goal and what’s a reasonable expectation.
I am 100% serious. I really appreciate updates like you gave (even though you messed up, we all make mistakes that’s cool).
As I previously said, good update and thank you.
thanks not what I’m looking for. I remember there were a couple of outside of the game world generation tools, I think one was king-something but that one needed active x to function. Basically the map file was made outside of the game to better world gen rules and you saved that file into your...
Started an old school game and I forgot how sparse the A15 world gen was. Are there any map generators out there that still work for A15? I sort of remember many stopped working when active x(?) became unsupported by modern browsers.
@faatal What’s your estimate as to how many zombies let’s say a current day mid range machine will be able to handle with the various improvements that a coming with 1.0.
Also what about a normal server with the improvement can we go higher with the spawned zombies and keep the frame rates...
A bandit attack with some notice on the base would be awesome. Doesn’t have to be super elaborate, some bandits show up and some have guns, some have sledge hammers and a few have explosives. That would be a huge addition in my opinion.
Bandits could even use a similar AI to the zombies all I...
Agreed and I thinks it’s a game engine thing. Nobody is patching Unity to have multi thread support.
Unity allows a lot of fun things, it’s just getting old.
Looks like I’m going to have to head to Reddit and repeat what I too frequently have to say.
”If you want a finished game, don’t buy a game clearly marked as early access”
Internet whiners drive me nuts.
I also hate the good bye posts:
I stopped playing the game because of X (when X=water...
What percentage of players need lock pick protection for their base?
Sounds like more work needs to be done to make it a reality than players that need that feature.
This is a lot for the guy to answer, I recommend trimming down to three items.
The DLSS/FSR thing has been answered and it needs to be supported by the game engine (Unity) and as of now there is no support.
