To be fair, since zombies got their masters in structural engineering, hordes have just became a nuisance that I mostly turn off. I'd much rather have 5-10x as more roaming zombies.

I miss the old system of clothing also, but it was so long ago that I don't remember was there armor also, or we relied on high health from wellness.

To be fair, in this game you'd probably find better stuff than you're able to craft anyway. That being said, they should bring back combining stuff and levels 1-600 :)

Hmmmm... bringing back survival aspects to the zombie survival game. I like this novel approach :) On a more serious note though, I'm glad that TFP has remembered what sort of game they were making in the first place and I would welcome any and all changes in this direction.

True... just like with LBD. People who wanted to rush to higher levels did it. I crafted stuff when I needed it, mined stuff when I needed to. That's why I say that there was no meaningful change with books and magazines. Well, except the dumbification of the game.

Exactly. They got rid of LBD to minimize exploit of crafting, running, mining, shooting, etc. to people focusing on bookstores and POI's with many bookshelves. What do you take as a reward? Books. Why? So you can craft better stuff. I just don't get the point. Each system is exploitable, but in...

It was a loooong time ago, to be honest, but I do have fond memories of it. About not wanting A16 for POI exploration... yeah, that's why I said A16 with these graphics and World generation. I think it would be glorious :)

Like I said, those people that were content by running around the campfire while crafting axes are now finding ways to speed read their way to crafting better stuff. But, for us that want just to play the game and immerse ourselves in the World, LBD was far superior mechanic with its organic...

I don't know what happened to the real FUN Pimps and their game. Every new version gets more and more watered down... with nicer graphics though. It's like they've been binge watching Zombieland for 4-5 years now and trying to recreate it here.
