Here @Riamus, ill repost the first screenshots.

Ok, here's the specific blocks I'm talking about, and when you see them, it'll be more clear what my problem is.  As you can see, 2 of the blocks I used to build my walls do have an attachment point for plates to make the floor above, but the 3 in the last picture have no such equivalents. 

So, there's a few glaring holes in the list of blocks available for building that makes certain shapes of bases impossible to make adequately. I shall attach a few images of what I'm trying to do with my base to illustrate the issue
