Those streamers are official testers - and they stated just a little bit ago that it is being pushed to steam shortly.

It is in the normal generation for a new world, but advanced gen allows you to create a 16k world that takes ages to finish (as TFP has stated) - about 15 minutes so far, at the time of this writing
