One of the real charms of 7DtD is just luck. On one game you might encounter a crucible early on, in another, a simple wrench is maddeningly hard. Normally, it's not terribly hard to encounter a wrench, and that leads to vital parts.

You can really burn up your money in the game now, and, I think it adds to the challenge. Making brass hard or expensive to come by is a plus, not detrimental to play, to me. Most games are much too easy, and brass is now a prized resource, as it should be.

I've been doing okay hunting wolves and finding chickens, and using eggs, which are plentiful, to make bacon.

The Zombie Rage Mechanic is a good thing, in my opinion. Before, it was all too easy to predict exactly how the Zeds would react, and take advantage of the system. Now, things are much more chaotic, unpredictable, and more realistic. I've died from it, but, it's still an A plus new feature!

To be perfectly truthful, 7d2d has been the most heavily played modern game that I've had the delight to experience. I play all sorts of games, and have pretty ■■■■ high standards, and there is no beating 7dtd for it's immersive excitement and the amount of "things to do". It's as creative a...
