I'm pretty sure zombies are spawning when ever you make any noise. I was in the snow biome on navesgane I cleared all the zombies around the poi. Then I went inside and cleared out the inside was only 2 zombies inside was my first poi. As soon as I started breaking couches and stuff inside...
