For me it seems you disabled the ai maybe by accident, while doin admin stuff? Spawn some and hit the * key on your number pad and see if that wakes them again. Other than that no idea

Claim block isn't preventing random spawns it seems. Have my range at max 71 block, wich exactly fits my base, still get random zeds inside of my walls and screamer spawns as well. Meaning the ones she calls in, not the screamer ladies themselfs. So much I can tell.

Not rushing for rushing's sake. You're rather forced to rush till at least lvl 40 to get basic things done like a forge and crappy iron tools now with perks and the level gating. You can't even say, ok, i'm somewhat set now, now let's take it easy. Take a break from looting and killing zeds...

I agree with op, i loved the alpha 15 spawn system. Looting pois were much more fearsome. You heard them smashing on the walls outside and never knew when they're about to get in and where they're coming from exactly. Reason to add lockpicks?? Beeing sneaky?? No point to sneak into a poi and have to whackamony the hell out of a freakin save and wake the whole neighbourhood
