This was just one example. Fluffy Panda is a bundle while there are more POIs from other creators which are not bundled. Actually we have the following custom POIs on the server:
AbandonedFort_mihawky 1.1
babel_inc
Bloodmoon Arena Burnt Forest
Bloodmoon Arena Desert.zip
Bloodmoon Arena Forest...
The quoted bundle is just the bundle i mentioned. There are around 10 other single POIs which had been added to the map. So, i would need to list 11 download links and ask each new player to download. Adding more POIs would increase the list...
Same issue here and need to install those custom POIs locally to make it work. However, this is not a solution for a dedicated server as every client need to know all 40+ POI download locations and install them locally. Most players prefer to stay away although many of the custom POIs are really...
Ok, just to clarify i'm not speaking about a big mod but 1-2 poi's. i wonder as i've played on many other servers with no download for new poi's. maybe their poi's are using only the existing prefabs? So, if the new poi's consists of prefabs shipped with 7dtd it should work without any...
Hi.
We are planning to reset our dedicated server, creating a new map and include several new custom POIs from the community. As the server should be open for everyone we do not want everyone to search, download and install the required POIs on their own. Is there any way to automatically...
Hmmm...do we need a new save game/map to play b14 stable or can we continue using our b336 save game/map?
If a new save game/map is required can we export/import/copy our players from b336 to b14 save game/map? This worked fine in A21 and was great to explore new maps as our group doesn't want...
How did you succeed to copy a player from one map to another?
I've tried in different combinations on local and server and always end up in error messages as described here
It worked fine before 1.0 and was great to explore new maps without restarting from scratch
Hmm…in business software we usually ship a new software for stable version even if the only difference is version change from beta to stable. Well, there are usually some minor changes too. You cannot be serious in the business as it confuses the customer. Ok, i know Windows is still beta and...
It‘s now b333 experimental. Don‘t want to start playing b333 if stable is another update. Worst case you need to start a new map and you can‘t copy player; this is no longer working since beta experimental.
That‘s at least confusing as experimental usually not equal to stable.
Steam shows different entries for v1.0 stable and experimental builds.
If b333 is the same as v1.0 then v1.0 was out way before been officially said as b333 was available before. Is confusion part of the game?
I hesitate...
lol...update should be out but nobody knows how to update as usual methods do not work
no update in steam although v1.0 selected
no update on dedicated server no matter what, it`s only b333
this drives me crazy ... the usual ....
