I swear at some point I could use FSR when playing 7 Days on my Steam Deck, but now that option isn't there. Was I imagining it or did it go away?
I have it unchecked, but no FSR option when in game…
In OPTIONS, VIDEO SETTING, DISPLAY, UPSCALER MODE, what choices do have?I swear at some point I could use FSR when playing 7 Days on my Steam Deck, but now that option isn't there. Was I imagining it or did it go away?
Not really sure, basic install and nothing tinkered outside of settings and it's showing up for me. Check what Ace said, make sure you're looking in the upscaler settings. You can manually launch the launcher from the directory in desktop mode, maybe use it to wipe the game settings (cleaning tool), you can also get a log in this mode too while you're at it for us to take a look.I have it unchecked, but no FSR option when in game…
Ok, I did this - cleaned in desktop launcher, and all settings were reset. But, still don't have the FSR options. I also tried changing to Proton Experimental, just to see if it would do something different, but it doesn't.
Also, I had previously uninstalled the game and reinstalled it too. Also done file validation too. So weird...
I'll check that next chance I get... thanks!Actually @retrogamingdev , check the game launcher in desktop mode, make sure you're running Vulkan and not GLcore in the renderer option, hit run and save as default, so you don't have to launch from desktop mode each time.
Now, switching back to GLcore seems to not have the same error. Played an extended session without the problem. Back to the original issue, though, no FSR option.
Ok, just to verify - I’m not crazy or have a funky install? You are aware of issues running Vulkan on Steam Deck (above error) and are investigating? Thanks for confirming, I will stop trying to figure out a solution if that is the case.Yeah that issue is something we've been looking at (related to the IOE you got). As it turns out, apparently FSR isn't supported for the GLcore renderer.
