Do yall think the update is going to make the Game too easy? Like with the new perks that's are really strong?
What do yall think?

No way to know until trying it. And it'll depend on the player's abilities and also on what difficulty level they use as that will also make a difference. Still, the game is already easy. But I don't really think there's be much difference for me. Any bonus from perks will be offset by the new tiers of zombies. Maybe it'll need some balancing, but I think it'll end up feeling roughly the same in the end to me. I didn't see anything in the streams I watched that suggested any different.Do yall think the update is going to make the Game too easy? Like with the new perks that's are really strong?

As long as we have the customization settings we'll always be able to balance out difficulty. One of the features of the game I like the most.Do yall think the update is going to make the Game too easy? Like with the new perks that's are really strong?

I really, really like this idea!...Time spent in a biome could have given you background biome xp which slowly hardened you against the elements, requiring you to spend time in the biome and battle the adverse effects.
Thank you.I cannot know until ive done some playthroughs. When that time comes ill let you know.
You also will not normally have the better perks until later unless you focus solely on those instead of on your weapon perks, so I don't see that as a serious problem. If people want to rush something, let them. If they find the game too easy because of it, there are difficulty levels and mods. In the end, no matter what they do, veteran players are going to feel the game is too easy while new players will feel it's too hard in certain things. We have recently had people complaining that screamers are too hard and dire wolves are too hard. In the past, people have complained that regular dogs are too hard in a tier 1 POI. For a veteran, none of those are hard. Changing the perks or zombies isn't going to really impact that. A veteran might struggle with a change like the zombie tiers for a short time until they learn what works to deal with them, but then it'll be easy once again.Thank you.
But why I think it's going to be easier is due to the new perks. Yes there's the stronger zombies but they aren't seen till much later.
Imo this is what they should do too increase it. From what I've seen
- Lower pack mules effect and raise the required
- Increase zombie health and amount
- Add effects In all biomes even with your badge. Like use more stamina and water in the desert, more food in the snow, etc. Or even Temperature like the old days and have armor have a second mod slot for clothing agent the elements
Yup, agreed. A real challenge is exciting and rewarding to overcome, just not when it's artificially or poorly implemented....A veteran might struggle with a change like the zombie tiers for a short time until they learn what works to deal with them, but then it'll be easy once again....
The main reason why I stopped playing The Division I and II. The epitome of bullet sponges....As far as zombie health, people hate bullet sponges. The new zombie tiers already have their health increased. I don't see any reason to do so to the lower tiers....
On the older version, I remember loving and looking forward to eventually going to the central town hub where all the beefy Zeds were. It was the highlight of the game for me....And regarding the biomes, they want people to go to the other biomes. If you make going to them more annoying such as having a constant debuff like you suggested, people will be even less likely to go to other biomes....
This the most! It is not fun gameplay. I absolutely loved Elite Dangerous until I needed to travel to a distant Star System that literally required real time hours of sitting in my pilot's seat hopping from Star to Star with nothing else to do inside my ship. Just not fun.But I hate gating and I hate having to stand around and wait just because the game throws something at me that I can't do anything about, like a storm.... so I'm stuck sitting around waiting... with nothing to do for 5 minutes until the storm finally goes away....It's just a waste of my time and does nothing to improve the enjoyment of the game for me....
After observing numerous streamers this weekend, it is clear that the update is certainly not rendering the game excessively easy. The biome progression is likely to leave many players stranded in the wilderness, unable to escape it.Do yall think the update is going to make the Game too easy? yeah, i love basing right across from bob but my friend is scared to base anywhere but the forest and i had to promise to build them a bespoke base to get them to try out desert living with me. if there is nothing to encourage somone to stay they will just do the nomad thing of loading up and heading out once they have visited for a bitAnd regarding the biomes, they want people to go to the other biomes. If you make going to them more annoying such as having a constant debuff like you suggested, people will be even less likely to go to other biomes. Even what they did with the biome hazards will likely backfire and make many people choose to avoid the other biomes entirely because of it (or disable the hazards and possibly weather).
You really have a low opinion of how other players are. Maybe don't reflect your PvP folks on the rest of the player base. Most people won't have any issues with it because it is stupid easy. After observing numerous streamers this weekend, it is clear that the update is certainly not rendering the game excessively easy. you actually think most people like being able to medigate 90% damage, thats basically cheat mode? i find that hard to believe. You really have a low opinion of how other players are. Agree with you. Devs needs work on what the majority of the players base bought the game for.You really have a low opinion of how other players are. Maybe don't reflect your PvP folks on the rest of the player base. Most people won't have any issues with it because it is stupid easy.
I did not reply to that section at all, and silence does not imply acceptance. You need to stop putting words into my mouth, and you needed to stop doing it several posts ago.you actually think most people like being able to medigate 90% damage, thats basically cheat mode? i find that hard to believe.
i mean, if someone wants to drop 20 levels worth of points into just packmule and be the iron tank they've always dreamed of while not being able to run more than 5 seconds and while not getting good loot and while not being able to shoot stab or slice then why not? most people are NOT going to be funneling all their points into a single skill anyway so while it might be something pvp players will consider it likely wont really change much for most of the playerbase who already know what they like and have ideas about how to ratio out their skillpointsyou actually think most people like being able to medigate 90% damage, thats basically cheat mode? i find that hard to believe.
He wants the devs to change the game to the way HE wants from what I can tell, which isn't even 2% of the player base and the game wasn't made for pvp as everyone that works on TFP mentioned tons of times.i mean, if someone wants to drop 20 levels worth of points into just packmule and be the iron tank they've always dreamed of while not being able to run more than 5 seconds and while not getting good loot and while not being able to shoot stab or slice then why not? most people are NOT going to be funneling all their points into a single skill anyway so while it might be something pvp players will consider it likely wont really change much for most of the playerbase who already know what they like and have ideas about how to ratio out their skillpoints
