Having an issue with twitch integration

So this started yesterday for me. When I go live and connect my twitch integration I’m having a weird issue. Everyone can use regular redeems using the channel points, spawn redeems work for cp too, donating bits also gives them the sp. however when anyone uses ANY command that costs bits nothing spawns and they’re “refunded” (the command turns to a cost of 0 for them). I know the bits are processing though because hype trains are appearing on my live. I’ve tried a new world, a shared world, my old world, everything but nothing seems to have anything spawn or work with bits. I even had another streamer join my world, redeemed a bit command on their integration and it worked fine.

Does anyone have a clue what’s causing this or how to fix it?

This issue is currently being investigated. If you have any additional information that you can provide, please add it to this thread. We are looking for output logs from client and dedi (if dedi is applicable), VOD's, and/or whether you are using mods or previously used mods.

We have received a couple of other reports related to this, but we have not been able to pin down a reproduction. What we know so far is that the bit actions do get credited instantly. Viewers can use the command "checkcredit" to confirm a balance of bit credits. If you can also recall/provide any additional information on what happened prior to the issue, we will gladly take it.

The original report received mentioned that they had played with mods previously. They were able to resolve the issue by uninstalling all mods, wipe their player data, and validate their files.

I am currently at work but I can gather some VoDs and that for you over the next day or two from my previous lives. As for output logs, I am not entirely tech savvy so I’m not sure how to get those for you. 
 

But with the game, I use no mods and haven’t used any previously. I have attempted fixes by seeing if the command will work on new maps, old maps, shared worlds, and even the map I rented through nitrado. I even attempted with EAC on and off and that didn’t work as well. I do know though that when the issue first occurred on my OBS screen I noticed HUGE drop in frames lost (instantly 8-9k dropped frames). That only happened once and I have yet to be able to replicate that.

I also know that on every multiplayer map I tried that didn’t work for me works just fine for other streamers with the integration. I had them log into them and tested bit redeems and loaded fine for them. I also tried to disable the commands and re-enable them as well as completely remove the integration from my twitch channel and re-add it but those options didn’t work either. 
 

and that’s what brought me here cause I ran out of ideas haha.

 
So I figured the command that might be causing it, because I just did it on someone else’s stream. As soon as I did the group grace command on them it made all my bit commands 0bits in their integration and I can’t redeem anything for them now. It was during a time where a bunch of viewers were spamming commands on them.

I tested this on two streamers and replicated it. I told them when they’re done being live to send me their VoD links and I’ll send those as well with the time stamp. 

 
This is one of the VoDs from when it happened last night with the group grace command at about 1:54:46 is when we started spawning on the other streamer (sorry couldn’t get their PoV) but when the bears spawn in on them is when I used group grace on their twitch and they didn’t appear:

in that same VoD at about 1:58:55 is when we started spawning on the viewer in the VoD and the group grace did the same thing.

Now I did find a fix for it, I had to switch to Twitch mobile and redeem a bit command (that was 0bits) that I didn’t use before and it wound up fixing for them.

However this wasn’t the case for my, Last night I uninstalled and reinstalled 7days as well deleted and files on it and nothing fixed for me. I went live to “test” the fix with a viewer of mine who’s stuck on 0bits for all my commands and had him try the fix on mobile and desktop but didn’t work for him.

i couldn’t get the VoD of the original video of it happening but this is the VoD from my stream last night. The time stamp would be 58:08 where I had them start doing the bit commands. I even tried to disable, enable, and change prices and that didn’t fix either. At 1:04:22 I have the viewer explain what’s happening on their end. And at 1:05:28 I had the console command window pulled open to show what appears on there when they try to redeem it if that helps at all. This is the link for that VoD:

Thank you so much for the additional information and for your assistance with this. Would you mind adding an official bug report for QA to use as a landing place while we work through this issue? There are instructions on where to find the output log. If you can get logs from clients and server/host that would be amazing.



We will be actively looking at this issue and may like to call on you for further assistance providing you don't mind lending a hand.

Also, would you mind letting us know when you plan to stream with Twitch Integration so we can tune in and watch?

As for when I plan to stream next I plan to go live 6:30 EST tomorrow, however I’m feeling a bit under the weather so that might change.

 
The devs working on Twitch Integration have the information you and another streamer provided and are actively working on a fix. I am hopeful we will see something soon.
