Darkness Falls: They mostly come out at night...

Are there any plans for darkness falls to improve storage similarly to UL? It's just annoying to constantly make boxes only holding 60 slots of stuff. Would be nice if we could craft 400-1000 slot storage containers

 
Maybe I missed it in the notes but did the range on irrigation pipes get reduced or is it a bug? I mean when I can create them it doesn't matter but I'm trying to retrofit Razors.

 
I've checked around about as much as I can, but I cant find any info - is there now supposed to be an extra step to access the laser workbench? On the latest build, DFalls-Large2-PEP
 

I see it's moved from the second to last room, to the last room of the second to last floor, but I can't interact with it (no prompt), also can't interact with the fusion forges in the research facility. I can break them down, such as with a wrench or pickaxe, but no interact prompt to open a crafting menu. https://imgur.com/RIys8G8
I've tried moving around it to look at it from every angle to see if it's just a weird interaction box like the desks can be, but no luck.

They changed how getting the work bench works. You do Anna's quest and you are rewarded with a portal device. Or you destroy and loot the blue portal in the lab. You will get a portal device which looks like a black key card and you use it to make your first laser workbench in the metal workstation. You can make more laser work benches in your laser workbench without the portal device. Caitlin will also sell portal devices from time to time.

 
Is there a way to get the mods for the use the workbench to repair items  as a separate mod? I am wanting to have players repair stuff on a workbench, if they do use a toolkit, I want to use a degradation mod. Thanks :)

i fee you here but we started using player fridges and other containers. No they are not 1000 slot storage but quit being a hoarder! my wife does this and half of our base is storage. lol

Hi friends, we are playing this wonderful modification with a friend and are very happy, but there is a problem. My robotic cannon and robotic hammer are attacking my partner's drone. 
Everything worked well in vanilla alpha 21.
Is there anything we can do about it? Thanks!

 
Khaine, when the scifi hatches are open, they have no "open/close" option if you are outside of them. In case I'm not being clear (I have a migraine and I'm at work atm) Let's say I have them in a hatch hallway. I raise them up. Then run around to the front where I am standing on the fighting position. I can't lower them to move into the hallway from that side.

Anyone help with unable to launch DF issues?

Fan of DF for the last few years, been playing it off and on. I recently attempted to download for A21 and it was successful in playing for a few days. Then red console started coming up randomly and eventually after playing with that for a day it no longer would load. I attempted to re-download DF and also 7D2D with a full clean copy of both but am still unsuccessful at getting the game to load past the "New Game" screen. 

I removed the full game install from Steam as well as the save/world file folders that are stored separately. Cleared my Steam cache and re-downloaded a new copy of 7D2D. I'm able to launch Vanilla without issues. Followed the video on the main page here to download and install DF.

When I then attempt to unpack the zip from A21 DF, I received an "Unexpected error is keeping you from copying the file" Legendary.unity3d file. When I attempt to pull the file manually into my 7D2D copy path, I also get this error. I re-downloaded the DF zip again and had the same issue but with a different file.. so instead I manually moved this new "Legendary.unity3d" file into my old file path and it worked. However, still when I attempt to launch DF I'm getting a lot of red console messages starting with "Error CRC Missmatch.. zombies.bundle/cntWallSafe/Items.bundle" etc. I attempted loading DF with Large1PEP, Large1NOPEP, Large2PEP.

TLDR Version: Vanilla works, DF doesn't, when launching DF after "new game" and settings, red console prompts until I force close the game. I've re-downloaded the DF files 3-4 times and re-installed 7D2D on Steam 2-3 times and also tried "validating game files."

Hi everyone! I'm playing A21 DF and have a bit of an issue with game progress.

I've accidentally cancelled the find Razors compound quest for the scout, I have found the compound, talked to Razor, but he wont give me his 1st job. I kept doing jobs for the scout and got to tier 3 but it is still not triggering the find razor job. Every scout I've found so far in the map is locked like that. Is my playthrough doomed? any way to come back from this?

Big fan of DF, thanks Khaine for a great mod.

 
How do I check a POI tier while in game? I have been playing this game for a while now and i love it. Great mod definitely my favorite. I have not been able to find how to check a POI tier in game and I'm not sure if that by design or not. Thanks Khaine

 
hit F1 type dm in the console press Esc and select open poi teleporter and then in that menu type the name of the poi you are looking for. You don't need the entire name. If you're looking for a df poi just type df and the list will reduce to just the ones Khaine added for the mod. It helps. I used it to find out the lack of working stiffs in the DF New York City map. There's a few but most are in the wasteland.

You need to know the coded name like working stiffs are "hardware" or the crackabooks are "bookstore"

A21's workbench in the world is
"Everything is unusable."

In other words, in DF, the workbench of "DFalls_Razors_House" is
I feel strange that it is in "usable condition".

Steam からゲーム全体のインストールと、別に保存されているセーブ/ワールド ファイル フォルダーを削除しました。 Steam キャッシュをクリアし、7D2D の新しいコピーを再ダウンロードしました。 Vanilla は問題なく起動できます。ここのメイン ページのビデオに従って、DF をダウンロードしてインストールします。

次に、A21 DF から zip を解凍しようとすると、「予期しないエラーによりファイルをコピーできません」Legendary.unity3d ファイルが表示されました。ファイルを 7D2D コピー パスに手動でプルしようとすると、このエラーが発生します。 DF zip を再度ダウンロードしたところ、同じ問題が発生しましたが、ファイルが異なりました。代わりに、この新しい「Legendary.unity3d」ファイルを古いファイル パスに手動で移動したところ、うまくいきました。しかし、それでも DF を起動しようとすると、「エラー CRC ミスマッチ..ゾンビ.バンドル/cntWallSafe/Items.bundle」などで始まる赤いコンソール メッセージが大量に表示されます。Large1PEP、Large1NOPEP、Large2PEP を使用して DF をロードしようとしました。

TLDR バージョン: Vanilla は動作しますが、DF は動作しません。「新しいゲーム」と設定後に DF を起動すると、ゲームを強制終了するまで赤いコンソール プロンプトが表示されます。 DFファイルを3〜4回再ダウンロードし、Steamで7D2Dを2〜3回再インストールし、「ゲームファイルの検証」も試しました。

Trader Razor's POI has working workbench in A21.  That is normal.  He is part of the Darkness Falls storyline.  You can destroy it if you want.  Razor also has working Irrigation for farming, and plants growing.

Maybe manual install failed because of kanji in folder names?  Try again with romanji.

From the Discord FAQ:

Installing from the mod launcher is not recommended, as it often causes issues that are difficult to troubleshoot.
Instead, install it manually. It really is not hard. Khaine has a video here:

Apologies if this has been answered previously in the thread, but are you unable to utilize this overhaul mod within a dedicated server say on Nitrado for instance?

I can get it to work perfectly fine within single player without issues aside from normal 7d2d bugs, but after uploading files through FileZilla and connecting to the server there are still a lot of options such as maps that are not available to play nor does the overhaul really come into the server.

I have performed many many tests now and have spent countless hours performing trials haha I seem to be against a wall so any advice would be appreciated.

I've searched within Youtube as well and there doesn't seem to be anything on complete overhaul style mods for Nitrado, mainly only simple cosmetic mods like water and food percentage locations and so forth.

Thanks in advance to anyone who provides the feedback.

 
In the Discord chat, one of the modders recommends against using Nitrado or GPortal.  One of the users mentioned that it seems lots of Nitrado users have trouble, but no BlueFang users ask for help (so presumably it's working for them).  If you decide to go the Bluefang route, then it'd be nice of you to use the affiliate link in the "Buy me a Coffee" section of the first post of this thread.  Khaine needs coffee.
