I follow the instructions and receive the message "Account Linking Was Successful!"...what next?
 
Suggestions? Hmm, "hire a single writer, please?"

Oh, you meant about obtaining one; from random public info, next step should be to watch the stream, probably as live.
 
Hello,

I have a problem. I watched the stream about the hat and connected my Steam account to the website so I could receive it. However, TTV shows the account is connected, but I can't receive the hat because it tells me to connect my account. Deactivating my Steam account doesn't help, and deactivating the 7 Days Drops Integration website doesn't help either. I'm connected, but I can't receive it. Please help.

Changing the browser from chrome to edge doesn't help

And I have the game on Steam

seconded.. I followed the instructions given on steam and ran twitch overnight (since I'm in Australia and timezones don't match up) and no drop recorded in twitch and nothing in my steam account. Is there any way to fix this please?
 
I watched the stream and it won't connect. I click connect and it says account linked but Twitch still tells me to connect

Also please no more of these Twitch Drops. It was crap. A couple hour stream I had to tune into while at work isn't really going to attract people to the cause. More frustrating than anything (even if I got mine to work I wouldn't recommend it).

World of Tanks does twitch drops slightly better with it's contributors. It runs on a 24 hour cycle and you need to watch "x" minutes/hours to get the rewards and with various people streaming you are likely to get the reward. Streaming for 2 hours or less and calling it a day has to be the worst way to go about this.

I get that it's a bonus item, but for people who prefer to have the totality of the game and it's content it's a setback that makes us feel bad.

Please take note and learn from this @Laz Man. Your post on Steam about the livestream is getting nuked into oblivion from negative comments. I appreciate the effort, but perhaps next time give us longer to get the item.
 
I have the awesome Funpin hat in my Twitch inventory. However, I can't claim it because it still needs to be linked to my account. When I click on it, I'm redirected to https://drops.thefunpimps.com. There, I click on "Steam Connect." I then log in with my Steam credentials and am redirected to https://cm8va5le5d.execute-api.us-east-2.amazonaws.com/dev/auth/twitch/callback... The screen says: Account Linking was successful! in red. When I go back to Twitch and refresh, it still says "Account still needs to be linked." How can I link Steam to Twitch? (I've tried Edge, Opera, and Brave)

Although I was present during the entire live "blood moon", I did not obtain the "Purple Pimp Hat"
my steam account was however properly linked as requested, there must have been a time count issue on the stream, because I found myself stuck at 60% viewing time while I was present throughout the stream.

How to recover the 'Purple Pump Hat' now, will there be other streams allowing us to drop it?

Thank you in advance for our answer to my questions, especially since according to yesterday’s chat, I know that I am not the only one to have encountered this kind of problem.

Same issue here, waited up all night, because TFP's stream to Europe at 3-4am, I got no drop, complete waste of time, tbh getting sick of this game..
 
Same here. I have no idea what the cause is. According to the account page, the accounts should be linked, yet when I try to pick up the drop, I'm prompted to link the account.

As for the timing of the streams, I hope that, in the future, Twitch Drops will be given to other streamers, as time zones are a problem that should not be underestimated. Local streamers could then stream at times that are much more convenient for their audience.
 
It took a while for me to receive mine. I eventually had to start a new single player world, log out, then join my buddy's server and I finally had it.

Between this and the usual stream issues, I'm not surprised it's so wonky.

A couple hour stream where little to nothing could be heard due to technical issues. You'd really think they'd learn to test everything first but I guess that's a lot to ask.
 
The drops page says the following: Depending on the number of requests and the developers' schedule, it may take some time to receive Drops in the game. I understand that you need to wait for the next update to receive it in the game???
 
A quick update: I received the reward. I have no idea if disconnecting and reconnecting fixed the problem, but the hat is now unlocked in the game. However, on the Twitch Drops page, I'm still being asked to link my accounts.
 
For people who wants to install the hat (after doing all the necessary steps in Twitch):

- Start your game
- Exit the game then start it again
- Go to Character, then Click on Cosmetics

You should now see the hat. Click on the hat and then apply cosmetic on the bottom.
You are done. Hope it works for you.
