I thought i'd post some ideas I've had since discovering the game a month ago and doing a few runs to iron tiered equipment before failing. I recognize I'm a noob, so i apologize in advance if my ideas are horrible.

My first idea is to make certain Zombies resistant to fire, allowing them to turn into full health burn victim zombies if fire is used against them. Certain zombies, like the armored or heavy zombies shouldn't be immune, since they already hit a bit harder then vanilla zombies and fire increases their movement, but it would make the use of Molotov's a bit more circumspect.

If this is used, it might allow for more fire damaging sources to be implemented in the game without making fire a total win or completely moot, since horde composition would be important at that point. Burning asphalt, hot oil, and maybe a Flame Thrower for kix?

Water should buff zombie regeneration, but they should actively avoid water. That would allow zombies to pick up a slight healing effect while outside in a storm, but it would also cause them to seek shelter inside of structures, and seek the quickest route out of water. This would give players something to consider when building a base, and also where going to go during a storm. I'm not sure how this could interact with zombie rage mode (area destroy mode) if at all, but i softly think it should kick them out of rage mode. That might also be useful in allowing strategic placement of something like a sprinkler system to prevent undo rage modes, but i don't think anyone is going to install sprinklers for rage control when a bullet is better.

I have three ideas for new zombies. The first is a Zombie Deer. They would be a little different in that they would not actively attack a player running or openly walking around the map. They might freeze and watch the player, but they would not attack unless they crouched (entered stealth mode), held fire, or food. They could also target crops and wood on the map.
The other Zombie is a Zombie Cow. The cow would slowly wander towards the player with an aura of bot flies. Any one within a certain radius of the cow would take constant damage from bot flies, and the flies would ignore light cover, making something glass or a properly enclosed structure necessary to avoid damage. The cow would also explode when it died.
The Final idea is a zombie bull. The zombie bull being the equivalent of a zombie 4x4, aggressively charging the player, ignoring damage, and maybe dropping up to 4 full health zombies on death, allowing for chaos on a big horde night.

My final thought would be to add a bog as a biome, which would allow 7 days to die to be anywhere in the USA, rather than limiting it to Arizona. you could have Gators, pythons, and maybe some drowned rotting corpses.
