Quick question on Server Security (Windows Dedi)

Am I reading this correctly, that someone attempted to telnet into the server multiple times using a proxy, and attempted to (unsuccessfully) upload something to the server?

No, I'm not. And I never attempted to make any connections to the server through Telnet during this time.

I did, however, wake up this morning to find more attempts at a breach and my mouse locked up. Attempted a restart and lots of pop-ups came up about programs failing to load/install. So turned off Telnet for the server and running a full sweep of my server.
