Set your gaming device on your DMZ and see if it works. That will eliminate network security settings as a cause. IF the issue still occurs then it is an operating system level issue if this has worked before.

Disable firewall and antivirus software as a test to see if it works then start working backwards until you can isolate down which setting is causing the issue. You need to have a vanilla operating system to ensure NOTHING conflicts with the software you are trying to get working.

DMZ is short for demilitarized Zone. It is a router or firewall setting where a single network device is placed public facing to the internet as if no firewall exists. It is a way to fix certain devices from having issues that do not like firewalls or have their own built in firewall software.

On windows 11 You want to look at disabling windows defender and windows firewall and see if the issue disappears, unless you are using a third party firewall and antivirus software.

These are only tests and temporary in nature to try and run down the issue mind you.

I have already disabled the firewall and the computer is solely mine, how do I do all of this, I am a novice at these things.

Do you have theories that this mistake is because the game is being developed?

No, just going through the process. preconceptions lead to assumptions. Assumptions lead to errors.

Any assumption if any is that your ISP or government may be blocking access to things. Everything else has to be ruled out before I can say that is a possibility.

per google AI these steps will disable windows firewall:
To disable the Windows Defender Firewall in Windows 11, navigate to Settings > Privacy & Security > Windows Security > Firewall & network protection. Then, select the active network profile (Domain, Private, or Public) and switch the Microsoft Defender Firewall toggle to Off.
To disabled windows defender per this site:
Step 1: Temporarily Turn Off Real-Time Protection
The quickest way to disable Microsoft Defender is through the Windows Security settings. Here’s how:

  1. Press Windows + I to open the Settings app.
  2. Navigate to Privacy & Security → Windows Security.
  3. Click Virus & threat protection.
  4. Under Virus & threat protection settings, select Manage settings.
  5. Toggle Real-time protection to Off.

What other software is on the computer? Have there been any recent windows updates that have been applied, after which it stopped working?

What has changed in your setup? Anything equipment or software wise? Something has changed for now it is not working.

If I give you screenshots of his software that he's applied, like his GB, GH and all that, will you know if something has changed?? Because I play heavy games and they all work, there was a time I installed a game called Medieval Dynasty and the same error appeared and it didn't work with Steam, I installed it with Epic Games and it did work, I went to Epic to see if I could install Seven Days, but it's not there.

I can tell in add/remove programs applet by the install date.

You could try removing and install the game via steamcmd.

It is also possible you have some malware or software on the computer breaking the functionality of things.

Spybot search & destroy, superantispyware, kaspersky routines could help clean that out. If they are unable to find anything you could have a core OS corruption or failing hard drive or memory causing issues.

There could be a software piece installed that has hidden payloads or a trojan in it that could be blocking things. There could also be a government piece of software unknowingly there blocking things. If darkweb entities are using the PC, is there any reason why the PC would be compromised or used as part of a botnet? modern viruses don't break PCs they keep them running to continue spreading disease. Now depending on the nature of the payload wiping the drive may not remove the ■■■■■■, some of the more advanced stuff is OS reinstall persistant.

It could be a bad install of steam. Clearing all temp files and all traces of 7days and steam and purging all registry traces then reinstalling may resolve it if it is a corrupted install.

Yes I know brother and thank you for wasting time with me but how do I enter the game now through it, from the cmd?
