When boulders are destroyed, they leave behind a stone (you can't pick it up, but you can destroy it). This stone will eventually regenerate back into a boulder. Works with all vanilla boulders, including metal and resource ores as well as copper and zinc from MeanCloud's Mining.
If you are not using my MeanCloud's Mining mod, make sure you INSTEAD download MeanCloud's Regenerating Boulders, not this version.

- Download and extract modlets to your 7 Days to Die /Mods folder.
For Steam users, that's <steamdir>\steamapps\common\7 Days To Die\Mods (create 'Mods' if it doesn't exist).
