Hello. I would like to request a solution for a problem.

In the game, there is an item called a "Treasure Map" which, when read, sends you on a digging quest. You can only read one from a specific representative until you complete it; you cannot read another one from the same type until then.

This works perfectly in single-player.

However, when reproducing this on dedicated servers, the bug still persists, but triggering it requires different actions.

I could not reproduce this issue with the following repro steps. Is there something I'm missing? I just got a tooltip message that said "You cannot accept this quest at this time.".

1 - Join a dedicated server as a client.
2 - Read a "Taylor's Treasure Map" and accept the quest.
3 - Place a "Taylor's Treasure Map" in a toolbelt slot.
4 - Equip the "Taylor's Treasure Map" and attempt to read it using the right click.

You are using mods. Can you reproduce this without mods? It is very possible a mod is related to the problem as I haven't been able to accept the same treasure map more than once in a long time... perhaps A21, though I don't remember when they changed that.

I watched the video, and am still not able to repro. As Riamus said, it is possible that the issue is caused by the mods on that server.

Hard to look at without even a log, if you post your mod list maybe we can spot something that may cause it.
